Moran Roofing proud to work on this heritage project
Moran Roofing has completed the re-roofing on this Grade II listed building, applying individually cut, handmade clay tiles. These were bedded in lime mortar bonnet hips, with lead applied to the roof dormer and cheeks (leaded reverse dormers can also be seen to the left).
The chimney refurbishments required lime mortar, to match their original style and function, which allows rainwater to escape from the brickwork.
The image also shows another listed building that was sympathetically re-roofed by our team earlier this year. It can be seen furthest down the road, on the right-hand side. We used a mixture of welsh slate and handmade clay for this project.
